Paint fusion and challenge win

  I received my Paint Fusion by Sheena Douglass yesterday, it was the Pick of the Week on Create and Craft. I couldn't wait to have a play and this is what I made..

  I used a pink pearlescent background paint with a crackle effect over the top. I stamped the butterflies with Staz on and then painted them using the new acrylic paints that I bought along with the stamp set. Then I stamped the same butterflies over the top with versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder. I created a slight shadow around each one, then distressed around the edges of the door hanger with a pink brilliance ink pad and embossed in gold. Not bad for a first attempt I think. Cant wait to play again.

Its been a great day today, I won the Simon Says Stamp challenge. The prize was a $50 voucher to spend in their store. Needless to say I was straight over there, buying more Copic pens and 3 of my first ever Magnolia stamps. Yippee!!  :o)  Now just got to wait for them to arrive.
