Anya... I love you

This started out as "I'll just make a quick card", But three attempt later this is what I finally decided upon. I'm still not happy with it, but I've changed the papers twice, coloured 3 images and have decided thats it, I'm not spending any more time on it. I'm off to make something completely different.
I followed the sketch from this weeks Sketch and Stash challenge #55. The papers were free from a magazine, still sticking to my New Years resolutions, trying to use up all my patterned paper, not buying more.

As you can see I stamped this lovely Anya, she is actually an oldish stamp that I've had for probably 12 months or more, but just realised I've never used it until today.  I cut her out and put her on 3d foam to raise her. I embellished with 2 strips of ribbon threaded through a little pearl buckle, and 4 foiled die cut hearts. I blinged it up with lots of gems and some liquid pearls.

Double Anya card

I thought I would have a go at masking and stamping multiple images today.
I stamped my sitting Miss Anya - dressy set, first, then covered her with a mask, then stamped the armchair from Whiff of Joy, then covered the chair with a mask and finally stamped the standing Miss Anya, also from dressy set.
I followed Jeanette's sketch over at Friday Sketchers, but as my image was so large, I had to make my card bigger 8x8 and so my circles look much smaller than on the sketch.
I used Copics to colour the image, and practiced making creases or movement in the skirt and hat. Think I need more practice, not quite right yet.

I used some more of the free papers I got from a magazine. I'm determined to use up some of my patterned papers, I've got loads and loads, but still keep going out and buying more. It is my addiction !
I finished with some lace raffia, ribbon and flowers all from stash.

Pretty in pink

I made this card to enter into the Anyone for Anya challenge, this weeks is Pretty Bows.
I used a very pretty K & Co paper along with some plain blue card.
I stamped this pretty image and coloured with Copics, then cut her out with a oval nestie leaving her legs sitting out the shape.
I added a satin pink ribbon and bow, a sentiment from LOTV- Circular sentiments and 3 Prima flowers with gem centres.
I am also entering this into Colour Create Challenge #62 as the colours this week are -Pink, blue, white and grey with optional flowers and gems.

My first challenge card in 2011

I made this card to enter into the Anyone for Anya - Colour Challenge and this weeks  Sketch Saturday   #137.
This lovely Anya image was coloured with Promarkers.
The sentiment is a stamp from Whimsy stamps, used along with the ticket die in my Cuttlebug.
Embellishments used were various size paper roses, a couple of punch out swirls and two pearl headed pins.
