Baptism card and matching candle

Good morning everyone, today I'd like to share a card and candle that I made for a customer order.
First the card, I used a Forever friends bear from a Docrafts Cd, I personalised it and then printed on to card and also the same image onto water decal paper, to use on the candle. Next I cut it out using a Spellbinders label die, and matted on to gold mirri and then pink card.
I layered a scallop edge card with gold mirri, pink then white embossed dots card. A piece of pink satin ribbon was layered across, just off centre and the image topper was attached with 3d foam. Two double bows were added made from the same pink ribbon.
To finish some pearls, a florish and a card candy flower ( remember those I made on Monday?)

Here's the candle I made to match using the water slide decal paper. Sooo cute !!

White Wedding Card

I have been asked to make a wedding card for a friend of mine and this is what I came up with.

I used Centura pearl card, which is white with a beautiful golden glimmer. I embossed a layer and enhanced it with Distress inks
I printed the sentiment on to white card and to use it as the focal point I die-cut it using a decorative die.

This was added on top of more centura pearl card die cut using Spellbinders Morrocan border die, layered with white chiffon and gold ribbon, then decorated with large pearls.

I made some rolled flowers added more pearls to the centers and die cut foliage from gold textured card and more centura pearl. Viola!! I am pleased with the finished card and decided to make a decorative candle to go with.

Hope you like them and thanks for looking.

Cards for men

Good morning everyone, I hope you all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend. The weather here was miserable, raining most of the time, but that just gave me a good excuse to sit in and craft.
Before I show you what I've been making today, I'm going to share a couple of cards I made for my dad and a friends dad for Father's Day this year.
I know I'm late sharing these, but I have got loads of cards and craft fair items, that I've made over the last couple of months and not got round to posting.

This first card was for a friend to give to her dad who is mad about steam trains. I have made cards with steam trains on for his birthday before and he was so pleased with them, he has framed them to keep on display.

The next two I made for my dad, one from me and the other from my children.
One of my dads passions are garden birds. He fills a lovely display of feeders, tables and bowls, three times a day with a full range of wild bird food and then enjoys sitting at his dining table to watch all sorts of birds and wildlife come into the garden to bathe in the bird bath and feed not only themselves but their young as well. A beautiful sight! Some of the birds are now so used to being fed, that they follow him around and into the garage where he keeps the food and are brave enough to come very close.

This is off the children to Grandad, a very quick card, just three images matted and layered.

This is the one I gave him and he was made up with them both.
The images and papers came from a Joanna Sheen CD - JaneShasky- From the heart of the garden. I embossed and inked a strip of card with a floral spray border folder.

This image was printed onto a light card and decoupaged up.

I finished off with a matching tag and a double bow.

Thanks for looking, I'll be back soon to show you more.

Card candy flowers

Firstly I would like to apologise for not being around for the last couple of months. I have been making lots of things for customer orders and doing loads of craft fairs with Crafting With Love and also been on holiday and I'm sure everyone finds that sometimes everyday life  gets in the way and there just arent enough hours in the day.  Anyway hopefully I'm back to blogging a little more regularly and I have got loads of things to share with you.

I'm going to start by showing you some flowers I made today using Card Candy from Craftwork Cards. I saw a lady demonstrating at a papercraft show in Leigh over the weekend and thought what a good idea, as I have loads of card candy to use up.

Its quite addictive, once you start you cant stop and its really easy. My (10 yr old ) daughter made some too . I think I'll finish some of these with gems or glitter or something for the centers, but I didnt have any to hand before taking the pics.
Now all thats left is to use them on some cards or projects.
Thanks for looking!
Tatty bye for now and I promise to be back soon and share some more of my many creations.
