Kenny K guest dt challenge card

Morning all, I am very happy to share my card with you today.
I was asked a while ago to be a guest dt for Kenny K's Krafty Girlz  challenge.
This weeks challenge # Use your favourite colours

My papers are from a set by Docrafts and I just love the colours, black with a vibrant pink, its so lush!

I used this gorgeous image - Penny Pitstop. I coloured her with Copics, naturally!
I might have gone a little overboard with my embellies, but why not? I do love flowers and a bit o'bling!

Hope you'll join in with the challenge, as always there's some fab prizes on offer.

Truly Scrumptious is back...

If you are looking for the ABC challenge please look here or at the post below

I know we only missed a couple of weeks, but we are so excited to be back.
Before we get into the challenge I'd like to tell you that we are looking for some more talent to join our team, so if your interested pop over to the Truly Scrumptious challenge blog and check out the details of our DT call.
This weeks Truly Scrumptious  challenge is a nice easy one
 - Anything Goes
and we are being sponsored by Pink Gem Designs

For my card I followed a sketch from the Sketchy Colours challenge.

Papers were freebies from a magazine. I use lots of die cuts so that I could also enter it into Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge.

I used Kenny K's Rock chic image and coloured her with Copics of course. I had a quick go at colouring her guitar with the dots technique, not very well I hasten to add, also some dots around the image. This was so I could enter into Make it Colourful -dotty background challenge.
I matted and layered on two colours of card and finished with flowers from Wild Orchid and a bit of bling in the corners.
I hope you'll all join in with this weeks super easy challenge and dont forget to check out the DT call.
Hugs Sue x

Special Friend

Well the weekend is over and we're back to Monday, for me that means the children are back at school so I can do some crafting.
Today I have made a card following the sketch at Truly Scrumptious . Last day today so only just made it in time for challenge.
I used a paper from a 12 x 12 pad by AnneMarie designs, that I had completely forgotten about.
The colours were inspired by the Photo inspiration at Dutch Dare  challenge.
I stamped and coloured Madison Attitude by Kenny K with Copics, unfortunately the blue ended up slightly the wrong shade.
In order to enter the card into Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge this week - Lace, ribbon and / or bows. I added some raffia lace, velvet ribbon and instead of bows I knotted some thread through the heart buttons.
I am also entering it into these challenges;
Die Cut Dreams - Mothers day or Special friend- I chose special friend - sentiment
Rainbow Lady - Best friend (not sure if this fits the challenge properly as this is a card for a best friend, rather than using an image of best friends playing together) Please let me know!
Pollycraft - Teens
Sweet Stampin - Favourite Movie - I love Pretty Woman and this image reminds me of the part when Julia Roberts goes shopping on Rodeo Drive and comes back loaded with bags.

Thats me done I'm off back to my craft room, to make some more cards, got a couple of DT ones to complete.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
xx

Ever decreasing circles...

Good morning all, just a quick post today, I'm busy, busy today, got an appointment at the opticians and then taking my son to the orthodentist.
I have made a card for the Kenny K's Crafty Girlz challenge, this week they want to see circles. Think I might of over done it. I used a papermania paper for the background, then sponged some silkies through a template - retro bubbles by the Crafters Workshop, on to pink card. Cut 2 different size circles out of it and layered onto blue circles. Finished off with a bit of ribbon and even more circles, in the form of Craftwork cards, card candy.
I based the design on a sketch over at Mojo Mondays #178, although I did turn it sideways, as my image was so big.

This cutie is Devilish Donna and I thought I would colour her with Promarkers as I wanted to do it quickly and I always take ages when I use Copics. So not much shading today, just basic colouring.
I am also going to enter it into My Time to Craft challenge this week its - Going round in Circles
Thats it from me, I'm off. Hopefully catch up with a bit of blog hopping later, see what you all have been up to. TTFN

Kenny K challenge card

Good morning all, I've not had chance to make or post any challenge cards for a couple of days, but have managed to put together this quick one for  the Kenny K Krafty Girlz challenge - this week its favourite things. Some of my favourite things are ribbon, gems, this image, she's so sassy and my old denim blue jeans that I used to wear alot when I was younger. (I know I haven't used them on the card, but these on the image look really similar and reminded me of when I was young and sassy.) lol.
I followed the sketch over on Truly Scrumptious challenge #50.
I used some freebie papers from a mag, and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps, digi download.

I coloured this lovely young lady with Copics and Prisma pencils, no surprize there. I felt it looked a little bare so I punched out a couple of swirls and cut them into smaller pieces, for around the edge. I used ribbon and a flower slider brad ( not too sure what its called) and finished with a few gems in the corner. ..and Voila a quick card.
I am also going to enter it in the Copic Creations challenge - who are 'Cool' this week. I think the colours are cool and she most definately is.
Also the Stamp Something challenge want us to use a digi.
Top tip Tuesday - Anything Girlie

Suppa Star...

This is my card to enter into this weeks Kenny K krafty girlz challenge #29 a sketch by Bev. I followed the sketch but instead of a circle I used a star, hope you dont mind Bev. I embossed some of the stars with the swiss dots embossing folder.

I coloured the Rock chick image from Kenny K with Copics

Added some ribbon and a couple of music related charms and a few extra stars. As I have used the colours blue and brown I am going to enter it into this weeks Stamp with fun challenge #95 -  Blue and brown

Just Chillin

I wanted to make a card for this weeks Kenny K krafty girlz  challenge  and also wanted to try out my new mini sewing machine.
I stitched the patterned paper to mirri card and thought it looked a bit like denim jeans, so I cut out a pocket shape and stitched around that too adding eyelets to the corners. I stamped the good times sentiment and ticket stamp, then used the die, to cut it out, all from Whimsy Stamps.
I printed the Troublemaker digi image and coloured her using Copics.
Lastly I added a sentiment. I really like it, but I do feel there is something missing, not sure what.?
I would also like to enter it into Top Tip Tuesday challenge -All Sentimental
