What a cute little mousie...

Another beautiful, sunny day here in Newton, oh what joy!
My very pampered pooch has been for an extra long walk today, I couldn't help staying out and just soaking up the glorious weather.
And all this sun is inspiring me to make more spring/ Easter cards.

Heres my make today, yet another House Mouse, I can't get enough of these little cutie pies.
I coloured with Promarkers and layered on to some lilac card, which actually looks darker in the photo than in real life, its actually got a gorgeous golden glimmer, which doesn't show up at all in the pics. This was matted onto a yellow diecut circle and some free pattern paper from a magazine.

I embellished with a MS border and ribbon, four morroccan die corners, each with a gemstone, some flowers, die cut leaves and swirls and stamped sentiments.
I have to admit it is very busy, but I don't care I'm in a bright and bubbly mood. :)

I am entering this card into these challenges...

Passion for Promarkers - Animals (well just the one)

Big hugs and sunshine

Another Easter/ Spring card

I'd like to share a challenge card with you today, it was made to fit in with a number of challenges.
The first is Passion for Promarker - Animals theme challenge.
I decided to make an easel card today, but a fancy shaped one.
I used an XL frame Frilly #2 from Go Kreate to make my base card and also for the larger mats and layers. I used a butterfly pattern paper from stash not sure of brand.

I chose one of my favourite House Mouse spring stamps to colour with Promarkers, isn't it just adorable (mind you all HM are), and so easy to colour.

I stamped a sentiment, punched it out and layered it on a paper flower.
To hold the front cover up in the easel style, I punched a Martha Stewart border punch and layered up on green card with two lengths of ribbon in coordinating colours.
I made a couple of flowers using the same pattern paper and die cut some Spellbinder leaves and swirls.

I am entering it into these challenges also...
Crafts and Me - Light and airy spring
Joanna Sheen - Spring is in the air
Totally Gorjuss - Spring
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes
One Stop Craft - Handmade flowers
Papertake Weekly - Bingo -Ribbon, free, Punched shapes

Thanks for looking

House Mouse - Welcome spring

Good morning all, where has the week gone? can't believe its Thursday already.
I want to share my card for the House Mouse challenge -Welcome Spring. I followed the sketch over at Passion for Promarkers -#91 sketch, but had to turn it on it side as my image was too big to fit the sketch the right way around.
I chose this adorable image from the Tulip stamp sheet and coloured with Promarkers.
You cant really tell, but each raindrop and puddle of rain has dimensional glaze on it.
The papers were from a scrapbooking paper stash, that I came across whilst tidying up. I suppose I should tidy more often, you never know what else I'll find ;o)
I finished with a strip of raffia lace, a couple of flowers and a butterfly charm.
I am entering it into these challenges;
Squigglefly - Spring theme
Cheerful Stamp Pad - Is it Spring yet?
Stampavie and more - #133 Spring / Easter. I chose spring
Thanks for looking, enjoy the rest of the day. x

House mouse - multifolds

Heres my entry for the House Mouse - Multifolds challenge.
I made a double twisted easel card, using two images layered on two colours of card.

I coloured both images with Promarkers.
I just love these images, they're sooo cute, just look at their little fat tummys, all full of cake.
Here a photo at an angle so that you can see the folds.
I kept the embellishments quite simple as I didnt want to detract from the images, just a few card candies from Craftwork Cards.
A close up of the sentiment, quite fitting I think.
I am entering it into Passion for Promarkers - Food and Drink challenge
Top Tip Tuesday - Birthday
