Another quick post today, an altered box.
I wasn't happy with the colours so as you can see from the later pictures I decided to alter the colours a bit by adding some blue spray and blue embellishments.
I think it really brightens and lifts it and now I love it.

This is truly striking! I love the aged look of the box with the flowers etc, on the one side and wonder if you made them or just coloured and aged them plus gluing them there. Did you use an epoxy? You are right, the blue just pops and makes this box even more special
ReplyDeleteHi Brigit, thank you for your lovely comments. I used a mix of flowers some I made from resin, some clay and a couple of bought ones. I did gesso them all once they were stuck on and then used acrylic and some spray paints to colour them. Big hugs Sue xx
