Handmade Monday

Well its soon got round to another Handmade Monday #59.
So what have I been up to this week?
As usual I've been getting ready for craft fairs, I went to one on Saturday at Lark Lane , Liverpool. It wasn't particularly busy, I think everyone was making the most of the glorious weather, but we did get a few people coming for a look around and I did manage to sell a few items.

These alternative to chocolate Easter gifts, that I posted about earlier in the week, sold well.
I had a couple of people leaving comments, asking how I decorated the tealights.
Its easy just stamp and colour on to tissue paper, cut out and apply in the usual melt in, way.
I did a set for myself and tested out what happens when the tealights are lit.
They burn as normal, but just under the flame the edge of the tissue and image burns away.

I now have a long list of things that I need to make and paint before the next fair in two weeks time.
But I'm not doing any today, I'm off out with the dog to enjoy a bit of sunshine.
Catch up with you all soon
Hugs Sue x

What a lovely way to decorate tea-lights, and good to know that they still burn well.

It's a long time since I've been to Lark Lane, We used to take the (now grown up) children to Sefton Park to the Palm House. Your stall looks lovely and your tea lights look really pretty.

Your stall looks amazing, and so professional too. It would draw my eye if I were wandering round. I love your alternative to choc easter gifts, such a great idea (although I don't believe that there are people that don't eat chocolate, lol). CoB
