Peacock painting

Good morning, I'd like to share my first attempt at painting a peacock.

I used water colours and a little acrylic paint for the neck and head, and a technique using masking fluid, bubble wrap and Brusho powder pigments for the effect of the tail feathers.
I was inspired by Alison C Board who does some wonderful water colour and mixed media artwork.
I'm pleased with the finished painting, and hope to improve with practice.

Thanks for looking
Hugs Sue x

Your peacock is fabulous, well done you for painting it, I would love to be able to draw. Thank you so much for joining in with our challenge at Country View Crafts. I now need to get out my 'teach yourself to draw' books again lol. Have a fun week, Sue xx
