I have been so busy lately I've had no chance to make any cards or join in any challenges this week. I did manage to get to the North West HappyStampers spring stamp festival yesterday, I spent a fortune, bought loads of new PB stamps, but not even had chance to play with them yet. All the family have spent the day at an under 10's rugby tournament which my son was playing in today and next Saturday after playing in the morning, he's playing at St Helens Saints ground before the main match. Then thankfully the last game of the season on Sunday. I might finally get chance to try out my new stash. Fingers Crossed.
Goodnight all I'm off to bed Sue x

More Candy
Check out Artfully Ila's blog she is giving away some lovely candy to celebrate her birthday and also her daughter's blog - Trina's Timeless Treasures for even more great giveaways
My Sweet Sugar Challenge
I decided to use handmade paper instead of patterned for this challenge. I used the same paper and punched out some flowers and mixed these with fabric flowers. Unfortunately the photo does not do this card justice as it doesn't show all the glittery highlights on the stamped image.
I received my sugar nellie stamps this week, they are all sooo nice. I have been stamping and colouring all week but not actually got round to making cards till today.
Blog giveaways
Go checkout Michelle's blog for some purple blog candy and Kitty's blog for some Bella candy. Dont forget Susie's blog for fantastic K & Co candy too. See my Crafty Blog links.
I used some fantasy film on this card and this lovely butterfly stamp I have just bought. The top card I glittered the butterfly image and decoupaged them. I used my new cuttlebug embossing folders in the background on both cards. I am really impressed with the embossing folders, I think I will be using them on lots of cards from now on.
My entries for the papertake challenge. Elegant embossing.

Gina's Blog Candy Card
my new blog spot
Though I'd show a couple of cards that I made recently.
A friend at work asked me to make her a couple of cards that she could give, one for a christening and one for a 60th birthday. She was made up with them and gave me a fiver each. First time I have sold any cards, its a great confidence booster.
